I’m ready to buy, what are the payment methods?
You can buy over the telephone or book an appointment to visit us. UK buyers: We accept all credit cards apart from Amex but have to pass on the 2% processing charge, Debit Cards carry no fee, Bank Transfer or Cash. Non UK Transactions are Bank Transfer only. For mutual safety we do not offer online payment so please call/email us to proceed.

What is your best price? - can I make you an offer?

We operate an honest and transparent pricing policy. Rather than inflate our prices and then haggle the price you see is always the best/lowest we can offer. We never deviate from the advertised price.

If you ship the watch to me what are the arrangements?
Your Watch will always be carefully packaged, fully insured, tracked online and will require a signature on receipt. Shipping is normally free for UK buyers. European shipping is normally £50. Within the EU there are no additional import duties to pay. We do not usually ship outside of Europe.

Do you offer a Warranty and Insurance Valuation?
We check all of our watches very carefully and would not sell anything that was not operating properly in the first place. Many of the watches we sell are still covered by the original manufacturers’ warranty, where this is not the case we offer a 12 month warranty against mechanical problems (not damage to watch following misuse/accident). We provide an Insurance Valuation with all watches we sell.

Apart from the normal warranty, what is your returns policy?
If you collect your watch in person but subsequently change your mind we will offer to buy it back in the same condition subject to a re-stocking charge. If you buy the watch without first inspecting it you are covered by the UK ‘distance selling regulations’ which allow you to return the goods (in the same condition) within 7 days of receipt for a full refund.

Where do you get your watches?
We mainly buy from High Street jewellers who often take in part exchange watches but are reluctant to have used watches in the window. We also have relationships with some Manufacturer’s distributors to sell ex-display stock watches. Lastly we buy and take in part exchange watches directly from our customers - we are very very careful and for every 10 watches we are offered only buy 1 or 2.

Are all of your watches authentic/genuine?
100% yes, we have years of experience and reputation to uphold and would never sell a fake watch or a watch with fake parts. We are happy to confirm this in writing for your individual watch if you in any way worried.

Why do you operate by appointment only?
To keep the cost of our watches as low as possible we do not employ sales staff and are very busy, we ask you to make an appointment so that we can give you our undivided attention. Watches are split between our London and Edinburgh offices so to ensure that the particular Watch you want to see is in the right location we need 24 hours notice for most appointments.

Why do you operate from an Office not a Shop?
Our Offices are placed close to the other Watch Dealer Shops however as we are paying considerably less rent we can pass the savings on to you. The Office environment allows us to give you more time and interact one on one.

Can you alter the strap/bracelet to fit me?
Yes, we are happy to do this and discuss different strap options

Why do you obscure part of the Serial Numbers?
A full serial number could be used by someone in a fraudulent insurance claim hence we do not show them online however as the new owner of the watch you will of course have the full information.

What is the Rolex/Lost Stolen Register? What about other makes?
Rolex are unique in offering this service which is basically a database of serial numbers they run in co-operation with the police and insurers. We check all Rolex against this register. For other makes we have our own procedures for ensuring the validity of the seller when taking into stock.
